Environmental inspection, testing & remediation
Inspection, accredited lab testing, and licensed remediation for homes and commercial buildings. One company from the first sample through the final clearance, so nothing falls between vendors.
What we do
One contractor for the whole job — we self-perform the core work and manage every sub on site.
Visual inspection, moisture mapping, and air or surface sampling to identify mold growth and the water source feeding it.
Containment, removal, and treatment of affected materials — plus fixing the moisture problem, so it does not simply grow back.
Pre-renovation and pre-demolition surveys identifying asbestos-containing materials before work disturbs them.
Controlled removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials under full containment, with the documentation the job requires.
Testing for lead-based paint in pre-1978 buildings, and safe removal or stabilization where it is found.
Rapid response to leaks, floods, and intrusion — extraction, drying, and monitoring before secondary mold growth starts.
Short- and long-term radon measurement placed and retrieved to protocol, so the result stands up in a real estate transaction.
Investigation of persistent odors, respiratory complaints, and ventilation problems when the cause is not obvious.
Documented clearance testing confirming the space is back within acceptable limits before it is reoccupied.
How it goes
Tell us what you are seeing, smelling, or worried about, and what the building is. We will tell you honestly which tests are worth running and which are not.
A thorough walkthrough with moisture readings, photographs, and samples collected where they will actually tell us something.
Samples go to an accredited laboratory. You get written findings with photos and lab data, explained in plain English, plus a scoped quote for the work needed.
Containment, removal, and correction of the underlying cause — done under controlled conditions and documented as we go.
Post-remediation testing confirms the space is back within acceptable limits before anyone moves back in, with written clearance for your records.
Why us
Krewson Environmental Inspection LLC handles the full arc of an environmental problem: we inspect and sample, send the samples to an accredited lab, remediate what the results call for, and verify the work with clearance testing. One contract, one crew, one point of contact.
Inspection, remediation, and clearance under one contract. No coordinating three vendors who each blame the other two.
Samples analyzed by an accredited laboratory, with the actual lab data included in your report — not just our summary of it.
Findings in plain English alongside the technical data, so you can hand it to a contractor, a tenant, or an insurer without translation.
Real estate timelines and water damage do not wait. We schedule quickly and get results back while they still matter.
Questions
Yes. We inspect and test, remediate what the results call for, and verify the work with clearance testing afterward — all under one contract, so nothing gets lost between contractors.
It is a fair question, so we are straightforward about it. Testing is quoted and billed separately from any remediation work, the lab data comes from an independent accredited laboratory, and the report is yours to take to another contractor if you prefer. If you would rather have clearance testing done by a third party, we will work with them.
It depends on the building, the number of samples, and the scope of any work needed. Call or send an inquiry and we will quote the inspection before we schedule anything.
Usually within a few business days, and same-day where we can for active water damage. Lab turnaround adds a few more days depending on the test.
Yes. Reports include photographs, sampling locations, and accredited lab data, in a form suitable for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
